Information on a new Level 2 qualification for adults who require a level of financial understanding for their personal lives

The British Computer Society is working with partners, such as the Financial services Authority, Basic Skills Agency and industry subject experts, to develop a Personal Finance qualification at Level 2. The portfolio is expected to be released later this year.

 

The qualification is aimed at people aged 16+ who require a level of financial understanding for their personal lives. It could be delivered in the following settings:

– Providers – FE, 6th forms, adult education

– Citizens Advice Bureau

– Credit Unions

– Industry – banks, insurers

– Government offices – DTI, DfES, Treasury, DWP

– Prison Sector

– Workplace
