The Augar Review of Post-18 Education

This government review, led by Philip Augar, aims to consider the roles HE and FE should play in meeting the country’s social and economic needs, how they fit together, how they should be funded and whether they are delivering value for students and taxpayers.

CPD Programme

This strand of activity has enabled a further 73 colleagues to develop their AP skills with the support of a 3-day (part residential) taught programme, a mentor, the Toolkit and Guides and the Canvas Learner Management System.

Collaborative Projects

In this strand, 15 Collaborative Projects were commissioned, each receiving £10K in funding to evaluate the effectiveness of the AP role across a partnership of two or more institutions. 

Working with ESOL parents through storytelling

This practice exemplar from Glasgow Clyde College shows how a partnership approach helped parents, for whom English is a second or other language, to gain practical skills and knowledge to more effectively engage in their children’s learning through storytelling.

Collaborative Projects

On the 11 January Collaborative Project Leads joined our second online Webinar, led by Joanne Miles, extending and reinforcing approaches to measuring project impact explored during their second training day, in London on the 13 of December.
